Nollywood and African Film Critics Awards’ (NAFCA) monthly magazine known as the NAFCAriST, is a publication aimed at members of the organization and provides news, analysis, and insights into the world of Nollywood and African cinema. The NAFCAriST also features interviews with industry professionals, film reviews, career advice, and other valuable resources for members. As a publication for the organization, the NAFCArist serves as a platform to keep members informed, engaged, and inspired in their work as industry professionals.
Within the Nollywood and African Film Critics Awards (NAFCA) organization, a member is also referred to as a NAFCArist. This term is a combination of the words "NAFCA" and "arist-ocrat," highlighting the prestigious and respected status of members within the organization. Being a NAFCArist signifies a commitment to the advancement and appreciation of African cinema and African Showbiz at large.

NAFCAversary is a unique celebration event held to commemorate the anniversary of a Nollywood and African Film Critics Awards (NAFCA) member's joinig the organization. This event serves as a special day to honor and acknowledge the member's dedication and contribution to the organization and the film industry. FILM CRITIC MEMBERSHIP
To become a member of the Nollywood and African Film Critics Awards (NAFCA), one must be a film critic or journalist with a proven track record of writing about Nollywood and African films. Critics must demonstrate a deep understanding of the cultural impact and artistic value of films in their writing and critiques. Membership in the organization is by invitation only and is extended to those who have shown a consistently high level of expertise and dedication to the field. Members of NAFCA have the opportunity to vote and participate in the selection process for the prestigious awards given to Nollywood and African filmmakers.
NON-FILM CRITIC MEMBERSHIP
In order to become a non-film critic member as an actor or filmmaker in NAFCA, the individual must be an active participant in the Nollywood or African film industry. Actors must have a proven track record of roles in Nollywood or African films and demonstrate a commitment to the craft. Filmmakers must have directed or produced Nollywood or African films that have been released and have received recognition from the industry. Non-film critic members play an important role in supporting and promoting the culture and arts of Nollywood and African cinema.
Nollywood and African Film Critics Awards (NAFCA), have three membership levels: The Elite, Gold, and Basic.
The Elite membership is the highest level and comes with a range of benefits, such as exclusive access to industry events, priority invitations to film premieres, and personalized membership support. Members at this level also receive advanced film review opportunities and a dedicated profile on the NAFCA website.
Gold membership offers a middle tier of benefits, with access to special film screenings, early access to film releases, and discounted rates for industry events. Members at this level also receive priority support and access to exclusive publications and resources.
Basic membership is the entry-level option and offers foundational benefits, including access to the organization's mailing list for updates and news, discounted admission to select industry events, and discounted film review opportunities. Members at this level also receive regular updates on Nollywood and African film releases and industry developments.
Members at lite level have the opportunity to vote and attend the annual Nollywood and African Film Critics Awards ceremony.
